The goal of this activity is to provide a fun way to provide exercise for your child’s small hand muscles by tearing open a package with a fun snack hidden inside.
Material Needed:
- Wax paper or a cut-up grocery sack
- Cracker or fruit (or whatever you provide for snacks for your child)
What to do:
- For an afternoon snack time, wrap up a small snack.
- You can use a piece of wax paper so your child can see part of the surprise and entice their curiosity.
- Another option is to cut a strip out of a brown paper sack and wrap their snack in it. Tape the sides well to make the project last longer.
- Have fun eating your snack time treats together. Perhaps your child can unwrap your treat too.
In the Comment Post below:
Please share your child’s age and if they are a boy or girl. What objects did you wrap? What paper did you use to wrap the snack? Please describe your activity and how it went.
