BLOG Content

The goal of this activity is to provide a fun way to provide exercise for your child’s small hand muscles by tearing open a package with a fun snack hidden inside.

Material Needed:
  • Wax paper or a cut-up grocery sack
  • Cracker or fruit (or whatever you provide for snacks for your child)
What to do:
  1. For an afternoon snack time, wrap up a small snack.
  2. You can use a piece of wax paper so your child can see part of the surprise and entice their curiosity.
  3. Another option is to cut a strip out of a brown paper sack and wrap their snack in it. Tape the sides well to make the project last longer.
  4. Have fun eating your snack time treats together. Perhaps your child can unwrap your treat too.
In the Comment Post below:

Please share your child’s age and if they are a boy or girl. What objects did you wrap?  What paper did you use to wrap the snack? Please describe your activity and how it went.
