The goal of this activity is to build on their prereading skills through fun play with felt letters.
Material Needed:
- Letter patterns
- Felt (any color or colors)
- Scissors
- Pins
What to do:
- Cut out the letter patterns
- Pin patterns to felt and cut out.
Optional:
These can be used to learn letter sounds. Search for things around the house that begin with that sound, make simple words using the letters. Put in order after reading the Dr. Seuss ABC book.
